For
hockey fans, Inline Hockey Tournament competitions begin on the afternoon
of Friday, Oct. 9th and run through late evening. Competitions
resume again early Saturday morning through the late night hours
with the same schedule again on Sunday. Championship games
for the Blood Cup will be played on Sunday*.
A mounting list of entertainment features are being scheduled**
for the GBPH event. Here's some highlights of
interest...

For the looky-loos, take a peek or take your chance with
raffle tickets on a huge array of donated gifts ranging from some
big ticket surprises, collectibles, entertainment packages, gifts
certificates, brand name consumer products, personal services
packages, and, oh yeah, hockey gear!
Placed throughout the rink apron will also be featured exhibitors
selling and demonstrating a variety of products and services for
your added shopping and entertainment pleasure! Check out our

Wheelchair
Roller Hockey Exhibition

 Come watch and cheer on the Rancho Wheelchair Sports
teams as these amazing athletes compete in a full-rink, two
12-minute tournament style exhibition match. And help support
coach Lisa Hilborn and her players from Team Reyes and The Kings
in all they do!

The Rancho Los Amigos National Rehabilitation
Center in Downey, CA and the Las Floristas Wheelchair Sports Program
provides in- and outpatients with the opportunity to participate in a variety of competitive wheelchair sports and
activities year-round.
Count The
Bloody Shirts!
No. Not hockey blood! Count the number of attendees who
will be donning their I Gave Blood
T-Shirts after donating a highly prized pint, or all
those who will sporting their Give Blood
Play Hockey tournament shirts. But don't feel left out.
You, too, can have one of your own! Either donate blood on Friday,
Saturday or Sunday, or step up to the kiosk and buy your own (Ts
for $15 each, or 2 for $25. Long sleeve for $20).

Mission
All-Stars Skills Challenge
Saturday,
Oct. 10th (times TBD)
Sponsored and conducted by the Mission Roller Hockey team, players
and goalies compete in skills challenges for two divisions: Youth
and Adult. Whether or not you're there with your team, all players
are invited to enter and compete. Always a fun & exciting
event to watch.
